These are the first novels in my Southeast Asia thriller series about westerners – otherwise know in this part of the world as farang, mat salleh, puti, or gweilo – getting out of their depth and trying to survive. Each novel has a different theme and characters and setting but they all overlap, just like the peoples in the region do. At latest count there are eleven countries, thus another seven novels to go.

The latest novel in the series is in the initial stages of development. The outline is nearly finished and the main characters identified, but this may, and probably will, get tweaked during the writing process. The working title is Magellan’s End. If you know history and geography, you’ll know the location. Once I finish the first few chapters, I’ll post a blurb and a sample.

Ibland får man inspiration för en ny roman men inser snabbt att den kräver ett särskilt språk. Blatteparadis är ett sådant exempel och skulle inte fungera om den inte var skriven på svenska. Romanen är fortfarande under viss utveckling och finputsning efter mer än två års skrivande och uppskattningsvis knappt 200 sidor färdig, men jag har prioriterat andra projekt.
